The Challenge
There is one type of client where a good website is not enough, and that is a client who sells branding.
Proper Sports Talent builds commercial identities for elite athletes. Brand systems, partnerships, the lot. Which means every prospective client and every brand they pitch will judge the agency by the one piece of work they can see for free, before any conversation starts. The website is not marketing for the business. It is a sample of it.
What we built
The build leans on motion rather than layout. Video runs behind the hero and through the page, which is the right instinct for an agency whose clients are athletes and whose output is content. A static grid would have made them look like a consultancy.
The section numbering does the branding work. Every block is marked PSM 01 through 07, a small device that turns a one-page site into something with the feel of a printed portfolio and gives the agency a system rather than a template.
Three owned platforms get their own carousel: Score90, Hayters TV, founded in 1955, and Boxing News, which has been running since 1909. That heritage sitting next to a modern talent agency is a genuinely unusual asset and the build gives it room.
The enquiry form routes by type, separating talent representation from brand partnerships, sponsorship and press.
The results
The build itself landed in fourteen days, which for a business whose credibility rests on its own presentation meant no window where the agency was live and looking unfinished.
The site also does something most agency sites do not, which is carry a proper enquiry routing system, so a talent approach and a brand approach never arrive in the same undifferentiated inbox.
